Our italian hybrid queens are open mated with quality drone stock. They are a 4 on the gentleness scale with very little to no smoke , very seldom do we have to wear a bee suit. The workers off these queens are very prolific foragers, display some hygenic behaviors, have early build up, maintain good colony size throughout the year, low swarming tendencies and overwinter well. All queens are marked and guaranteed live arrival to your post office. We ship in a 3 hole queen cage with 4 or more atendants, candy plugs with corks. We do not clip wings.
